- Currency refers to the timeliness of the information. The gun control information supplied by Just Facts was revised February 11, 2013, so the information is in fact current.
- Relevance is the importance of the information for my personal needs. The facts supplied by the site completely related to the topic, there were a variety of subsections, and they appealed to the intended audience.
- Authority refers to the source of the information. There are numerous credible citations listed at the end of the article, but the credentials of the author are not listed. There isn't any information on the author at all. Because of this, I would only be able to use some of the information if I were writing a research paper.
- Accuracy is the reliability, truthfulness, and correctness of the informational content. The facts are all backed up by peer reviewed or referred sources, and they are all clearly and accurately listed. The tone of the information is not at all biased and completely factual. There weren't any grammar issues or typos.
- Purpose is the reason the information exists. Although the biases were not clearly stated, the tone and language were unbiased because there were no political, ideological, cultural, religious, institutional, or personal biases. There didn't seem to be any advertisement within the information. Though the purpose was not stated, it was clear that the purpose was simply to inform.

CRAAP
I read through the Gun Control topic on the Just Facts site, and I found it to be pretty legitimate according to the CRAAP mnemonic device.
